Wild Thai Mocha is a little mashup we’ve been toying with for a few months. It’s made with Wild Thai Bananas, estate grown Cacao Nibs and Hazelnut Coffee beans.
For those unfamiliar; Wild Thai bananas hit differently than the Cavendish banana we find at a typical grocery store. They are quite small and often dried much like you would a raisin or apricot. The flavor is similar to the banana we’re familiar with; but, also has some custard and marzipan vibes.
Dark gold color. Brilliant clarity. The coffee is present on the nose. Flavors of roasty coffee and mocha. Undertones of banana and hints of hazelnut. For those who enjoy our coffee meads I think you’ll find this similar; but, with more complexity and greater smoothness/drinkability.
