Description

Mimir is made in collaboration with @mythkbrew out of Orlando. Mike‘s beers are all sort of rooted in mythology so we wanted to keep with a more traditional old school theme.

Mimir is made with some amazing orange blossom honey from Mexico. Just oozing citrusy goodness.

We then added a blend of burgundy rooibos tea imported from South Africa, lavender imported from Provence, France plus rose hips, rose petals, ground elderberry skins plus some ground currant skins. Not an inexpensive endeavor; but, so worth it.

We haven’t done the metheglin thing in a while. This one is positively smashing. So good.

Optically perfect. Dark gold in color with a slight pink hue. On the nose I get citrusy, floral aromas. It’s really impressive.

Flavors of citrus, guava, florals, and berries. It’s so complex and yet remarkably delicate/easy to drink. I’m convinced that if presented blind many would think it’s a fruity melomel.
