Description

Back during Tampa Bay Beer Week we worked with the crew at Mortalis to make a new concept.
Inspired by one of their Hydra series brews.  Nearly a ton of locally sourced Grade A Fancy Strawberries met some fresh Costa Rican pineapple chunks and Orange Blossom Honey.
We fermented this one with some boutique yeast complexes known for big tropical esters.  Then finished it on toasted coconut.
It’s a fun mead.  A perfect Summer sipper.  Strawberries on the nose.  Flavors of strawberry and pineapple with undertones of coconut.  Without hitting the suntan lotion vibe that’s common in some coconut brews.
